Classical cartlore
Classical cartlore is Kerry's proposed name for the regions, place-names and traditional distortions inherited from the period spanning the production of The World According to Glastieve in January 2020 and the Revised General Mappe in June, forming the paradigmatic understructure for later Glastieven cartlore. Elements of classical cartlore include the Five Classical Regions, the University and Catcheside Passages, the Elluna Triangle, and names like Peg-it Lane and Vulgate Square. Some slightly later coinings, such as the Liminal Belt, can also be seen as classical cartlore.
Not everything from this era became classical cartlore. Some ideas—like viewing "Bellringer's Church" as centre of the world—were abandoned. Others were never formally superseded, but have fallen into obscurity and failed to become part of cartlore's core, like the location Top McMillan.
